In the Post Content PROMPT field I have inserted some spintax for spun anchor text and written the following.
You must include one link to <a href="https://www.yoursite.com">{here|at our site|on our website}</a>
Sometimes it includes a link in my new article, sometimes it doesn't.
I have copied and pasted the instruction into notepad and back again to ensure there is no hidden formatting causing problems.
Any tips?

If you put your code in the "HTML before content" or "HTML after content" field, it will be inserted into the generated post with 100% accuracy. If you use HTML code in a prompt, it depends on how your prompt is written and how smart the AI model used is to understand it. While in the case of HTML content templates, your HTML code is handled by the AI Autoblogger plugin, your prompts are handled directly by AI.

It's nice to hear that you found our plugin useful. By the way, a new version has been released today and your plugin should be updated to it within 24 hours. The ability to generate multilingual posts with WPML and Polylang support has been implemented, as well as support for additional AI models, including the free Google Gemini Flash, and two Perplexity Llama Sonar Online models, which have direct real-time access to the Internet.

Oh wow. So is Gemini Flash really free? How do you think it compares to GPT 4-mini ?
I really appreciated the video pointing out that GPT4-mini is much cheaper and essentially just as good as GPT 4.
By the way, I have only used GPT-4-mini in AI Autoblogger and found that GPT-4-mini is quite poor at understanding spintax for inserting links with spun anchor texts. It is hit and miss. Sometimes it inserts no link at all.
However, I have tried using the usual code such as...
<a href="https://www.yoursite.com">keyword</a>
with just one keyword then in the next sentence instructed the AI to...
"Apply a subtle variation or modifier to the anchor text."
This seems to be working well in generating related anchor texts which will be useful for those of us looking to naturalise our anchor text profiles.
Of course, Gemini Flash is not as good as GPT-4o mini, especially when you need to deal with complex data structures like JSON, but it is good enough to generate quality text articles. Here is the pricing page: Login to see this link
So I highly recommend that you give Gemini Flash a try.
When you use Spintax in your prompts within the AI Autoblggers interface, it (your Spintax) is converted to normal (spun) text by the plugin, so the AI models get a clean HTML code without Spintax. The problem is that low-tier models like GPT-4o mini and Gemini Flash have trouble interpreting prompts that contain HTML code. At least you have to be very careful when writing prompts for them.

I asked chatGPT to help me to craft the prompt for gpt-4-mini.
I added the "using spintax" bit. The third line was also my own.
This has worked OK since.
I can also repeat it in the same article if I want a second link to a different page.
In the article, you must insert one contextual link to Login to see this link using the spintax anchor text like this:
<a href="https://www.example.com/keyword/">{keyword1|keyword1 variation-a|keyword1 variation-b}</a>
but add one or two words to modify the anchor text in the link.
This link should be inserted naturally into the text of the article.
When the Use Spintax option is checked, the GPT model does not see your Spintax. It only sees the normal result, so you don't have to ask it to parse Spintax in your prompt because it doesn't contain it.
In shot, the GPT model doesn't see this:
It sees this:
or this:

Spintax allows you to create random prompts for AI generation, which means that instead of using the same prompt every time, you can create dynamic and varied instructions for the AI. When the Use Spintax option is enabled in your campaign settings, the AI Autoblogger plugin will generate a unique version of your prompt for each new post. This is a great way to keep your content fresh and varied.
For example, here's how you can create a Spintax prompt to write an article in different narrative styles and from different authors' perspectives:
Each time the plugin generates a new article, it will randomly choose from the options you've specified in the Spintax format. For example, one article might be written in a formal tone with a storytelling approach, as if written by Mark Twain, while another might use an analytical approach and reflect the style of George Orwell. This ensures that each article is distinct and tailored, helping to avoid repetitive content.
You probably don't want all the articles in your campaign to be written in the same style and follow a repetitive template that could easily be recognized by Google as a machine-generated pattern, right? That's why you need to use Spintax.
