Hello,
ss there some easy way to change existing posts according to changes made in the post templates (header, content, footer)? I mean without heavy php. Would it work using this option:
if enabled, the existing posts will be republished every time the feed is pulled. Do not enable this option if you are not sure on what you are doing!
That's impossible because the base conception. The templates are made to convert the RSS data fields into a HTML document according to your formatting rules. They can't be used to re-format the existing HTML files (WordPress post content) with yet another HTML layout.
However if will work in case if Login to see this link option is set. In this case the post will be simply deleted and recreated again according to the current setting.
As alternative solution you can always use Login to see this link to reformat all the existing posts according to your new requirements.
