Hi,

I have cyberseo installed on a lot of my domains. On one specific server, it has stopped pulling feeds (it used to work perfectly).

Next update is: ASAP

Last update: 11378 minutes ago

My settings have not changed, it is set to pull the feed every 1440 minutes. If I pull the feed manually, it works fine.

I can't find any problems in my error log.

Any idea why this may be happening?

Yes, this may happen if you are using the "auto" mode. In this case the feed will be pulled only when someone visits your site. If there are no visits, not feeds will be pulled. So in this case I would recommend you to use server cron.

The second reason why it could happen - a caching plugin. If you are using some caching scripts, make sure they do not lock your index page.

Thank you.

I am sure its not the visitor problem since the site gets plenty of traffic. I will switch up the caching plugin to see if that fixes anything.

Btw, when I pulled the feed just now using a different caching plugin I got this error: Notice: ob_end_flush(): failed to delete and flush buffer. No buffer to delete or flush in /home/--removed--/public_html/wp-content/plugins/cyberseo/cyberseo.php(52) : eval()'d code on line 3

This is not an error. This is just a notice that says: "I can't flush and delete the output buffer because it's empty". Looks like your new caching plugin did it before CyberSEO. So, just ignore it.

The feed did not update today.  Currently I'm using Cache Enabler.

I have:

  • Cache Expiry set to 0 (never expire)
  • Clear the cache if a new post is published
  • Pre-compression of cache pages
  • Create an additional cached version of WebP image support.
  • Cache Minification for HTML and Inline JS

The rest is untouched.

Just disable your caching plugin and we will be 100% sure if it's a CyberSEO-related problem or yours caching plugin just blocks the updates.

I disabled the plugin. Still the same problem.

I'm not finding anything in my debug logs either. I tried changing the theme and disabling all plugins but that still didn't work.  I have a feeling it might be a permissions issue since this is only happening on a specific server (the plugin works fine on other servers).

Is it possible that if the feed is HTTP and my site is HTTPS that the automatic posting would not work? (manual still does work though)

No. CyberSEO 7 works with both HTTP and HTTPS protocols and can mix them w/o any problem. There is something wrong with your feed settings or your host just unable to connect the feed's URL. You may email me with access info to your WordPress control panel, so I can check it.
