Hi,

i created a DeepL Account just now, activated it and copied the API key into the CyberSEO plugins Syndication config for a feed. When i' trying to syndicate, nothing happens. A look into the log shows the following output:

So what am i doing wrong? Why is there no error code shown? This would be helpful for researching the problem.

Thanks for your help.

Chris

This means that DeepL was unable to execute your request. The error code is now shown because DeepL API does not provide the error codes at all: Login to see this link

Thus the only way to find it out is to contact DeepL developers and ask why their service doesn't work for you. Please find below the PHP function that us being used by CyberSEO Pro to interact with DeepL API. If DeepL support guys find a bug there, I'll fix it immediately. But I think that the problem is on their end.

P.S. Also you may email me with your DeepL account info, so I could re-check it by myself.

I've found the problem. The API contains a whitespace at the beginning and end when copied rigt out of Deepl's page. How dumb!

Maybe you can add a line to the function that clears all whitespaced out of the API key.

Thanks for helping

Sure, I've just added an API key trimmer function. If will be available with the upcoming update.
