The situation is as follows. For CyberSEO Pro's duplicate checker, each post imported must include a link to the original post. This link helps the plugin determine whether the syndicated post already exists in the database. Typically, when importing an RSS feed, the plugin uses the original post's link provided in the feed for duplication checking. However, when importing from CSV data, the plugin needs specific guidance on which CSV field contains a unique URL for the duplication check.
In your particular case, it appears that the 'csv_1' field could serve this purpose, as it contains video URLs that are uniquely identifying in your scenario. You want to avoid generating multiple posts with the same video, correct? To accommodate this, your "Custom Fields" settings should be modified as follows:
This adjustment allows the plugin to store the value from 'csv_1', which is a unique URL, as the source link for the imported post. Consequently, your post template should be updated to reflect this change:
By making these changes, the plugin will correctly recognize and use the unique URLs from your CSV data for duplication checking.
Here's an addition to the previous site.
1. You might wonder why the "check by post title" isn't working. The reason is that the post title is generated based on the value of the post custom field after the initial duplicate check has been performed, which is the case with RSS feeds. However, you are dealing with a CSV file link and need to disable the "Login to see this link" option. Then, the check will function correctly.
2. If your theme or other plugins do not require the generation of additional custom fields, such as post_description, post_date, etc., you can avoid creating them altogether. Leave only "csv_1->%link%" in the "Custom fields" section, and use the values of the XML tags directly in your "Post template", like so:
In this case, everything will still function correctly, but additional post custom fields will not be created.
