Hi,

I am having strange behavior on the site Login to see this link

I have this post Login to see this link

which is showing up correctly as this in edit and also in the right categorycorrectpost.png

 

But on the homepage Login to see this link

The article is showing the original feed from the rss which was never published and has actually been deleted entirely from the site

I've flushed the cache on the browser and server but I cannot isolate the issue.

Is there a setting I have missed that needs to be enabled/disabled?

From what I see on Login to see this link, you're concerned about the content of the post excerpts. Every WordPress post has two parts - the post and the excerpt.

Apparently, with your feed settings, the full text of the article is copied to its excerpt (Login to see this link its display in the WordPress editor to see what's there).

In the feed settings you can disable the generation of post excerpts or Login to see this link. To disable post excerpt generation, you need to change the content of the Post excerpt field on the Post templates tab. Try leaving it empty (delete the placeholder you see there).
