My apologies, as I know this is basic stuff for everyone else, but I just can't figure out how to get started. I have feeds set up - one from an RSS feed and two others from Google Alert RSS feeds. But all I get is a title and a partial sentence.

Maybe it's the feeds I'm using??

If so, do I need to go searching for articles and then manually input URLs somewhere?

I guess I'm trying to find a workaround and would appreciate any suggestions you have. Thanks!

Please be sure to always post your Syndicator log: Login to see this link

Also, in the case that you want to extract the full text of articles, you will need to enable Login to see this link in the "Advanced" tab of your feed settings.

I pulled the syndicator log as you had mentioned, and keep getting "unable to extract full text."

I'm really having a hard time getting this set up and working. I've been reading through documentation but I'm missing something here. I checked your YouTube channel but I don't see any "basics" videos to get things going. Can you point me in the right direction, as I need to pull in quite a bit of content and I don't want to have to do everything manually.

Thank you!

The actual problem is explained here:

This means that you have selected the "Use custom settings" method of full-text extraction, and your settings there are incorrect for this particular HTML document, which is normal in your situation. You are trying to extract articles from different sites - not from one site with the same HTML layout for all its pages. So obviously your rule won't work. I would suggest using the Full-Text RSS script instead.
