Hi,

I did a trail run with the free Cybersyn version and decided to move forward and buy a single user license for Cyber SEO. First, I want to thank you.  CyberSEO is far superior to the previous syndication plugin I was utilizing.

The only feature that it is missing that the previous plugin offered was Author Attribution.  What this did for me is to create a user in my WP Admin for the Author Source.  The way your plugin works is that it requires an author be chosen for the source, so I have created a User name "Guest Submission".

I'm not utilizing the "Spin" features because I am not spinning content.  Instead, I am aggregating content, and the cool thing about the feature I mentioned above is that it allows my wp to send out a welcome email with user name and password when I syndicate a new feed, and by doing so, generates interest and involvement in my project.

Just a thought, I'm really happy with the smoothness of operation regarding content etc with CyberSEO, so much that I am going to buy another single site license for my non-profit community arts news website.

Cheers!
Will

Could you please give me some more details on how to improve the author attribution feature?

Sure,  Check out the plugin, Feedwordpress.  It has an add-on plugin named "Add Attribution for Feedwordpress".  The Add Author Attribution add-on is the one to focus on.  Here is a link:  Login to see this link.

The add-on creates a set of fields for shortcodes that are installed as general default or feed specific for author, author link, feed link or feed address, etc...

I think this might be relatively easy for you to achieve with the introduction of additional shortcodes for footer and php placement. I'm not savy enough to know how it creates the users in the wpadmin.  The users that are created are assigned the actual name of the author and the password is generated automatically in the wp admin.

I'm looking at syndication of rss feeds that are relevant to my site's content, the focus of which is collecting antiques.  By syndicating the feeds of sites and blogs that focus on collecting, I see it as a way to bring interest and enrollment to my website.

Thanks!
Will
