I am using the Global Synonym Table to append a parameter to the end of the URL's for a feed I am syndicating. This works when I know the exact URL. My question is can I use wild cards to do a pattern match in the Global Synonym Table?

Ex. |http://www.url.com/something_i_know/something_i_dont_know/|http://www.url.com/something_i_know/*/?my_parameter

No it is impossible to use wildcards in the global synonym table simply because all special wildcard symbols will be unavailable for standard replacements.

So if you want to do this, you have to write a custom PHP handler. For example:

You have to put this into the "PHP Code <?php .. ?>" box and apply changes. That's all!

Hi, I also need to append a tag to the end of the url, the code works but the tag is added to the beginning of the last part in this feed instead of to the end, Login to see this link :

It becomes "http://www.gog.com/promo/?redirectadventures_week end_promo_050713", but I want it to be Login to see this link end_promo_050713?redirect

How to make the tag move to the end of the URL? Thanks

It seems that OP's looking for the same thing but why my parameter is attached to the beginning of the last part of my URL?

Try this:

idea I would recommend you to learn Regular Expressions.

Yes, I'll get around learning the basic stuff. I didn't even know they call Regular Expressions before you told me.

Regarding the code, what if I have more than one item to replace? For example, I also need to replace Login to see this link, should I just put another pair of the code above?
