Hi,

Loving the plugin so far, but now I am learning how to add embedded feeds and would really appreciate some help:-)

Rss Feed with embedded videos is:

I know I need to add something in the advanced section - possibly the "post content" section ?

Many thanks

Thanks for the reply.

Could you help me solve this then....  I am a quick learner and appreciate all the help you can give.....

changed the rss feed so it only shows the latest videos to speed it up...

So when I add the RSS feed above and pull the feed I get

Can you explain what I also need to do in order for it to display correctly ?

Thanks

Gavin

I'm getting the same result, because the embed code is incorrect. You can copy it into your browser, save it as an HTML file and you will get a ext box.

So there are two possible ways to fix it. The owner of the RSS feed must fix it, because nobody can use it as it's done. Or some coder may write a custom parser for this feed. I can write it for $10, but(!) the feed might be fixed by the site owner and my code won't work after that.

Right now the embed code is located in the Login to see this link box. This is definitely a mistake, but if I write a parser which fixes it, the problem will appears again when the error will be fixed.

So the affiliates replied with this:

"Thanks for your message. I would advise you to use the CSV dump format for this. Our feeds use a custom XML format and not the format you'd expect if you're used to dealing with Atom/RSS. So they'd require that you write a go between script to convert the data format to whatever your system needs."

I have tried the CSV dump and the Title and description work fine....  but can you advise where I am going wrong with the Video and the Image as they are not displaying...  so what fields would I use for this ?  Title - Content - Thumbnail - Description ?

You can not add that dump to CyberSEO. Course you can do that physically but the video will not be played because it redirects from Login to see this link. Of course everything can be done by a custom PHP code, but it's a paid service. Maybe the owners of that site will fix their dump and there will be an embedable video code without redirects etc?

Just open your WordPress admin panel and make a post with a video link from that CSV dump. I mean this:

It won't work. The same happens when you are trying to process the dump with CyberSEO.

You will need a custom parser (preset) for it. Contact me by email and I'll give you the quotes.
