Hello,

I build my own XML file and all works fine. Using the <category> tag I can have cyberSEO build me new categories but the problem is that Tags are ALSO converted to categories.  So I don't just have the real category name that I want but additionally the Tags. How can I have cyberSEO make a difference between tags and categories? I need both, so I can't just leave away the tags...

The problem is that RSS feeds do use categories, while other XML formats use tags for the same purpose. Thus the CyberSEO plugin assumes that tags are the same as categories.

idea So if it's your custom XML feed, you can simple use any other keyword instead of tags. Say "<groups>". E.g.:

<groups>
hats
t-shirts
pants
gloves
</groups>

Put them into a custom field:

groups -> groups

and then move into the $post ['tags_input'] array:

Yes but you will also need to alter the code like this:

That almost works for me :-)

Now with your code it does not place the Tags to the categories anymore but the Tags now contain not only the Tags from <groups> but also the category.

so it's like: "Tags: categoryname, tagname"

Because you have to disable the "Create tags from category names" option.
