I removed a Flickr feed from my dev site Login to see this link a few days ago, choosing the option to delete all posts that had come in on this feed. I had syndicated what I thought was the feed for one person but it's sending posts from all kinds of people! Needless to say this is not useful for my website. However, the posts that had been syndicated were not removed and posts are still coming in daily. In addition, ever since syndicating this feed, the posts form it are being attributed to the wrong author in some mysterious way I do not understand and which does not obey the feed settings. How can I stop this? Help!

That's just impossible. Please email me with an admin access to your WordPress control panel.

Sure. I just cleaned up about 15 posts that had come in form it and reassigned the authors on some posts that had gotten scrambled, so you might not see what I'm talking about until some of the feeds are checked. However I did trash the posts without emptying th etrash, so there is some evidence for you to check out. But I'm no expert! Perhaps you have another way of detecting this kind of thing. I'll get an email to you asap. Thank you VERY much!

Just spotted one live post that demonstrates what I'm talking about with the author mis-match. The post titled "Lemonade," in the Mindy Carpenter category, is assigned to author Jessica Lee Findleton, though in the feed settings the author is set to user Carpe Diem Papers.

So weird, the next post, Emerald Art Center Workshop, was posted on 5/19/20, though the original post was last year. I know because I posted it for her! I don't have any date adjustments set on any feeds as I want them dated the same as the original. Many of the posts we syndicate are for art classes and workshops, so it wouldn't be helpful to readers to see a recent post that's about a workshop from a previous year.

I can't say what's wrong with your site. Perhaps some other plugin or theme. There are no other threads at this forum about assigning posts to a wrong author. The CyberSEO uses WordPress API for that:
