hello,
i unchecked "if enabled, all images from the syndicating feeds will be copied into the default uploads folder of this blog. Make sure that your /wp-content/uploads folder is writable. "
and enabled
Image Path Cloaking - changes the external images URL's to the fake local folder (alter it below). This mode will make search engines think that all hotlinked images are hosted at your blog.
Then however the images either won't get displayed at all, or they link to the site with the original article
What's going wrong?
"Image Path Cloaking" is obsolete since CyberSEO became able to store the images locally. I'm going to completely remove this function from the next release to prevent such confusions.
"Image Path Cloaking" works not on all hosts because it uses .htaccess rewrite rules. For example, many hosts use nginx and Apache together (nginx used to serve static files while Apache deals with everything else). In such case the "Image Path Cloaking" won't work, because nginx doesn't read the .htaccess file.
Thus I suggest you to use the "Store images locally" instead.
