Yes, if the article contains an embed, it can be imported. However, the Full-Text RSS script may not be able to import them correctly. It's a very powerful script used by the plugin via REST API as a 3rd party service, but it's not omnipotent. A best way to import an article as 100% copy of the original HTML code is a built-in content extractor. Please read this manual: Login to see this link
It may look a bit technical at first, but once you try it, you will see how easy it is to use. You can post a link to an article that has a media embed, and I'll show you how to set up the plugin to do that. So you can use this as a guide in the future.

This article works perfectly with Full-Text RSS. It has such a huge amount of ad blocks, banners and pop-ups that it is very difficult to understand where the text of the article starts and ends. It is definitely better to import such content using the Full-Text RSS script, because if you import this HTML block as is, along with the ads, it will turn your post into a circus. Could you please provide a link to a well-designed example of an article with a media embed without an overabundance of ads?

Let's take this article of yours as an example of how to extract full-text articles using container tags. Open the link in your browser, press Ctrl+Shift+I, and the Inspector panel will appear. Depending on your browser, it may be on the right or at the bottom. I use Firefox, so in this screenshot you can see it at the bottom.
Click on the top left icon (1) and move the mouse over the article. The browser will highlight it in blue and the Inspector will also highlight the HTML code corresponding to this block in blue (2).
You can clearly see that the entire internal structure of the article is contained in the following block:
That's really all we need. We see that this block has its own id and class. We need these to be some unique names that indicate the beginning of the article.
The class names "column", "p-0" and "mb-6" are not unique so we won't use them, while the id with the value "main-content" is definelety what we need. So all we need to do is simply specify its name in the "Extract full text articles" (Use custom settings) field, like this:
Now just save the settings.
Be sure to reproduce all these actions yourself to consolidate the action sequence so that you can do it automatically later.
