Hi I was wondering how I could add this to a feed in the xml syndicator feed options? It's meant to select a particular ad depending if the browser is desktop or mobile. The javascript version I tried in the post footer worked but I would like to avoid using that one.

I don't understand what exactly you are trying to do. When you syndicate an XML feed, you just download and parse the XML file. There is no desktop or mobile version of it.

I'm trying to add a rotating banner below the post content. The type of banner and tour link will change depending on if the browser is desktop or mobile.

How exactly it will change if every blog post has a fixed content? Use JavaScript or alter your WordPress theme.
