In trying to parse some content from E! the full-text extractor seems to break - even though I've managed to get it working on other content.
For example this article:
It will get down to the line "and, maybe more importantly, does it matter if it's not?" which is the end of the intro section.
After the intro section, it has a link to other articles or photos, then an ad break and then more content.
Below are the settings I'm using:
Looking through the settings, it seems I can edit the settings for the primary parser, but I don't think there are any settings that control the full text rss extractor?
Any insights here or anything I can do as a work around to fix the full text extractor here?
This is what the Full-Text RSS script returns for your feed. It's a 3rd-party product and I have no control over it. As about the settings. All modification tools including custom PHP code, post templates, test spinners and translators etc, apply to the post content when (if) it was already generated by Full-Text RSS. So, course you can modify it as you want. For example if you want to replace some part of it, you can use the following PHP code:
So you can replace any parts of the generated article, including HTML code.
