I read the system requirements after I bought it.
Anyway, I managed to install an extra PHP version 5.4.33 just for my blog and the plugin is activated now without any problems.
BTW, what do you mean by: this 'feature' is not even planned ?
Is it an extra feature to support latest PHP versions ?
