Hi team,
I tried installing the plugin and activating it on two websites but I keep getting the same error:
"The plugin Doesn't Have a Valid Header".
I tried it on several websites, same issue. Mind you, I had installed the plugin successfully in the past. So, not sure what the issue is.
Any idea how I can resolve this?
Also, after doing the above, I was notified by my hosting provider that "Malicious code detected on your website". This happened on both sites I just tried installing CyberSEO on.
Since you've been using CyberSEO Pro successfully on multiple sites since 2023 and this error is happening now, it's clear that something recent has caused this - most likely related to a new antivirus system or updated security measures on your hosting provider's side.
Based on the "malicious code" notification from your hosting provider, it's very likely that their antivirus system is misidentifying the plugin. This can sometimes happen with automated scanning tools that misinterpret certain legitimate code as suspicious.
Here's what I recommend:
- Contact your hosting provider: Contact their support team and let them know that CyberSEO Pro is a trusted, legitimate plugin that you've been using since 2023 without any issues. Ask them to review the flagged files and whitelist the plugin if necessary.
- Reinstall after whitelist confirmation: Once your host confirms that the plugin has been whitelisted or that the issue has been resolved on their end, re-download the plugin from your account and reinstall it on the affected sites.
- Temporarily disable antivirus protection during installation: If possible, ask your host if they can temporarily disable their antivirus scanning while you upload and activate the plugin. This will help avoid false positives during the process.
Unfortunately, this type of false positive is not uncommon with some hosting providers, but contacting their support team directly should resolve the issue. Additionally, I recommend using the Wordfence plugin (Login to see this link) for WordPress security. It's a highly reliable and widely used plugin, and it doesn't generate false positives for CyberSEO Pro or similar trusted plugins. This can help you avoid such problems in the future while maintaining strong security for your sites.

Thanks for the follow-up. I got in touch with my hosting provider and tried to install the plugin again but got the same error.
Here's the response I received from support (which is accurate):

This is weird though because I downloaded the plugin from the link I received when I bought CyberSEO.
Since you've been successfully using CyberSEO Pro on multiple sites since 2023 and the plugin file hasn't been updated for almost a year and no other users have reported similar issues, it's absolutely certain that the plugin header and code are correct. The error you're experiencing during activation is entirely a local issue specific to your server, and no changes to the plugin will resolve it. This is a server-side issue that requires the attention of your hosting provider or administrator.
The error strongly suggests that something in your server environment is causing the problem. This could include missing PHP extensions, misconfigured settings, or interference with your hosting provider's security tools, such as antivirus or malware scanning systems. Such problems can occasionally occur if your hosting provider has recently updated its environment or security policies without notice.
To get to the root of the problem, I recommend that you ask your hosting provider or server administrator to thoroughly review the PHP error logs. These logs will provide detailed information about what went wrong during the activation process. Without these logs, it's impossible to determine the exact cause .
I also recommend making sure that any leftover files or database entries from previous installations are completely removed. A complete cleanup, followed by a fresh installation of the plugin, may help to eliminate potential conflicts. However, the core problem is clearly server-related, and only your hosting provider or administrator can resolve it.
Also, make sure that the cyberseo.zip you are trying to upload is not corrupted and that the cyberseo.php file there starts with the following header:

If the header matches and the file is intact, the issue is definitively on the server side. Unfortunately, I cannot assist further with this, as it requires direct access to your server environment. Please focus on having your hosting provider investigate thoroughly. If you have additional information from the server logs, feel free to share it, and I’ll do my best to guide you further.
