Hello,

I hope you are able to advise me on this.

At one of my installs it seems still a previous version of IonCube Loader is used,

so I did try to update the loader.
(did make use of the setting especially for shared hosting accounts, and just ftp access)

When the update is done, the following message is displayed:

"The installed version of the Loader cannot run files produced by the most recent ionCube Encoder.
You will need a version 4 ionCube Loader to run such files."

When trying to install CyberSeo from the WP-Admin a error message is presented :

Fatal error: The file Login to see this link cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader. If you are the administrator of this site then please install the latest version of the ionCube Loader. in Unknown on line 0

As i did follow any steps either i'm not sure what's caussing this, or how to solute it.

Thank you in advance.

That's because you have installed the outdated version of IonCube Loader. According to the Login to see this link and install it on your host.

By the way, there is a good forum where you can get IonCube-related support: Login to see this link

Thank you. This is what I already tried serveral times,

but it won't install it correctly, and all is still loading from previous loader version.

So i'm afraid i'm not allowed to install the new loader on this shared package. Tried all the steps on serveral different hosts, but unfortunately none of them seems to succeed. For now it looks i did purchased a bunch of packages,

where a previous version is running.

I will digg on the forum, let's see if there's a solution for this.Cool

One more suggestion. Make sure to download the latest version of CyberSEO plugin from the official site (use your download URL and login/password for it). Then copy all contents of its ioncube folder to the same folder on your blog.

Hi Admin,

Thank you again, also this method I gave it a shot.
For some reason it's still oulling the old loader, and won't let me run Loader Version 4.

Often a message like this returns : "The installed version of the Loader cannot run files produced by the most recent ionCube Encoder. You will need a version 4 ionCube Loader to run such files."

At the IonCube forum i found a posiblity and after trying also this workaround,(

I'm still not able to get the new loader enabled. While this solution were orginated made for hosting at GoDaddy,

I had to give it a try,  but without any luck.

I am having the same issue. This is the error I get:

The file /data/www/vhosts/mysite.info/httpdocs/blog/wp-content/plugins/CyberSEO/cyberseo-core.php cannot be decoded by this version of the ionCube Loader. If you are the administrator of this site then please install the latest version of the ionCube Loader.

The issue also is, on a shared server, I can not upload software to the server.

I am only having this issue with all the blogs I upgraded to 5.29

I did it in the WP admin, and clicked the One Click Upgrade to Version 5.29

What do you suggest I tell my hosting company to resolve this?

btw, I did not open a new thread as my issue is the same as OP.

Thanks

This is the response from the server company:
You are currently on shared hosting.  Our shared servers have PHP configured with ioncube loader 3.1.32.  We are unable to upgrade this version within the shared hosting environment.  If you have further questions or requests, please contact us back.

How can I get upload the old version of cyberseo so it is compatible with ioncube loader 3.1.32?

Thanks

  1. Haven't you asked your host why they are unable to upgrade the IonCube loader? They can't spend 5 minutes to a customer? For me it would be enough reason to move all my sites to another host. There are 100's of CyberSEO users on shared hosts and they have no such a problem because every sane host company will do everything to satisfy the client's needs.
  2. If you want to roll-back to the previous version of CyberSEO, use the one, which you have downloaded when you received the license. Make sure its version number is lesser than 5.20.

Thanks, I have found the older version.

It is sometimes not so easy to move 100+ sites and change hosting companies.

That being said, I have cancelled my conract with cavecreek.net hosting and will no longer be using their services by the end of january. The new host I have contracted with will be able to support the upgraded CYBERSEO with the latest version of ionCube Loader.

Thanks again for the help.

Important. To find out which exactly version of IonCube Loader is installed at your host, you have to do the following:

1) Save this simple line of code as "i.php":

2) Upload it (i.php) to the root folder of your blog.

3) Open it in browser (e.g.: www.myblog.com/i.php).

You should see the PHP configuration info of your host. Search for "ionCube PHP Loader". The current installed version number will be displayed there (e.g. "the ionCube PHP Loader v4.0.10, Copyright (c) 2002-2011, by ionCube Ltd.").

Not that the CyberSEO plugin requires IonCube Loader v4.0.10 or higher. If your version is older, make sure to update it he the last available one.

Hello my topic was locked so I'm sharing post here for the same problem. According to my host, they have said they already installed the loader to the latest version.

"Hello,

Thank you for your reply.

We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you. We have already installed the latest version of Ioncube loader. Still the issue persists. Unfortunately it is not possible to fix the issue from our end.

If you have any further questions, please update the Support Console.

Sincerely,

Patrice Bennett
Technical Specialist"

I don't know what else to do anymore. Can I have my hands on the older version of cyberseo? Else this will be another burn in my wallet.

Please follow the instruction given in post Login to see this link (it's just above yours). Which exactly version of IonCube Loader is installed at your host according to the phpinfo? Is it really the latest one?

P.S. Why don't you read the Login to see this link BEFORE to order the plugin? It's written there clearly: the plugin requires IonCube Loader v4.0.10 or higher.
