Hi there,

Sometimes when CyberSEO pulls a feed, it will stick the entire article content in the post title AND the content. So I end up with 800 character titles.

Is there a setting I might be missing or a tip or trick?

Thanks!

There are only two ways to achieve this result.

  1. Your feed’s <title> and <content> or <description> entries are duplicated in some of your RSS feed’s <item> entries.
  2. You do this by using the wrong settings in the Post Title, Post Content, and Post Excerpt Login to see this link of your feed settings.

But it will work the same way every time. Alternatively, this could be done via PHP snippets, of course, and yes, you can write a simple code to do it even randomly. In fact, the plugin allows you to do just about anything because it gives you full control over everything.
