Hi,
I'm using WP to Buffer to send published posts to a Twitter feed. Thing is that CyberSEO is publishing Posts just before adding / attaching a Featured Image to them. This was discovered by the author of WP to Buffer.
Could you look into the workflow / programming logic to make sure the Featured image is attached before the post is published?
Not CyberSEO, but WordPress has such a restriction. You can't add a picture before you create the post. So first of all, WordPress creates a post and after that it creates a featured image and attaches it to this or to that post.
A featured images is always just an attachment to the existing post in terms of WordPress. Check this out: Login to see this link
As you can see, WordPress expects an ID of the existing post to attach the featured image to. BTW, the the image must also be added into the media library in advance.
