Just a quick question about <!--more-->, in the OpenAI article assignment we use that to separate tasks.
But if I ask it to for example write in a certain tone or style at the beginning, will it continue to do that in all of the segments that are separated using <!--more-->?
Or do I have to tell it what tone etc to use in every part?
Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. OpenAI GPT doesn't remember previous assignments. The same happens when you chat with it in ChatGPT. It only notes a few previous questions and "forgets" the old ones during the dialog. You can ask it to re-read the conversation, summarize it, and use the summarized information when you ask a next question, but it's not something that real humans do.
The models available for regular users like you or me are very limited by a total number of tokens, so you have to explain everything you want from OpenAI GPT in each prompt, separated by <!-more->.
