Hi,
I never noticed this feature before and I was wondering what the actual effect would be:
In the documentation for your plugin it says: "Here you can set the syndication date adjustment range in minutes.
This range will be used to randomly adjust the publication date for every aggregated post. For example, if you set the adjustment range as [-60] .. [60], the post dates will be randomly spread between -60 and +60 minutes."
What does that mean? Does it only 'adjust' the publication date? Or are the aggregated posts actually spread in publication with a random amount of minutes? [ if the latter would be true, that would be awesome! ]
Example, if I set a feed to be pulled every 60 minutes and pull 5 posts and I set the 'Post Date Adjustment Range' to [ 5 -- 10 ] minutes. Does that mean that the posts are randomly published with 5-10 minutes between each other, or does the plugin only adjust the publication date (but still publish the 5 posts all at once)?
If you set the adjustment range as as [5] .. [10], then every newly syndicated post will be scheduled to be published withing 5..10 minutes from its date. In other words, from 5 to 10 minutes will be added to the post date (the date from a feed or the actual syndicateion date, depending on your settings).
