Hi! I prefer to keep the excerpt as the article introduction, and simply remove it from the page content manually.
So my article pages have the top image, the excerpt, then the content.
Edit to clarify: I usually consider the first paragraph of an article to be the "excerpt".
Is there a simple way to make CyberSEO strip the excerpt from the post_content so I don't have to remove it manually?
Or - if possible - is there a way to set a tag around the excerpt in the post_content?
I manually curate each story I collect, so it's a bit of a chore to handle this and it would be fantastic if I could automate it.
Actually, post content (imported for the RSS item content) and post excerpt (imported for the RSS item description) are two different fields of a WordPress post. Each can be displayed differently on your pages, and their display is completely defined by your WordPress theme. You say which post excerpt is included in the post content. This can only happen if you do it on purpose. For example, if you include the %post_excerpt% shortcode in your post content HTML template in your feed settings.

I thought the post_excerpt just stripped off the first part of the content.
I guess a much better solution for me (and probably easier) could be to use the CyberSEO AI features to create a unique excerpt and then just publish the entire content. Can you point me in the right direction for how I can do this?
If your post excerpt is empty (you can always check this by opening a post in the WordPress editor), themes usually (not always, as they may have special options for this) just use a stripped part of the post content field. However, if the post excerpt is actually defined, most themes will use it "AS IS".
As for making unique excerpts, you can use the OpenAI GPT to generate them. Here is an example of the shortcode you can put into the "post excerpt" HTML Login to see this link in your feed settings:

Of course, you can change it to suit your personal preferences.

Thank you.
I have tried placing the above code in the "post excerpt" feed. The page never finishes loading and no post is added.
Feed log (latest entry):

This is what I see when the feed is being pulled, it stops here:
How do I troubleshoot this?
The log shows that CyberSEO found a post in the source's archives but then it stops. I waited 15 minutes each time I tried and eventually the page appeared to stop.
I have added my OpenAI API in the general settings.
I also tested this with one of the examples from your page on AI prompts (Login to see this link)

If the article is too long for the OpenAI GPT API, it will return an error message that will be seen in your Syndicator Log. The script won't stop working in this case.
This usually happens because of a timeout. By default, the maximum execution time for PHP scripts is set to 30 seconds. If a script runs for longer than 30 seconds, PHP stops the script and reports an error. You can control the amount of time PHP allows scripts to run by changing Login to see this link or by increasing the max_execution_time directive in your php.ini file.
