Is it possible to import YouTube videos and, more importantly, extract the transcript, translate the meaning, and then rewrite it in blog form using AI? This content could then be submitted as a supplement to the original YouTube video.

SO:

Rewritten Blog Post from the transcript of the YouTube Video

YouTube Atom feeds do not include transcripts. They contain only titles and descriptions. So if you want to use AI to translate them into another language, simply select "AI Translate" from the "Translation" drop-down menu in the "Advanced" tab and select the language you need:

Is there a way to import video transcripts from YouTube feeds? No, there is no way to do that. The transcripts are not stored there.

Your question is not quite correct. You can't do this with the official YouTube feeds, but if you know some third-party service that provides YouTube video transcripts as importable text, then the answer is yes, you can.

I was wondering if there will be any video importing options available. For example, using Whisper for transcription and creating content out of video content. Is there any solution available for WordPress websites for this? For instance, when a YouTube channel uploads a video, could it be automatically turned into a blog post?

Upon further investigation, it turns out that it is indeed possible to extract transcripts directly from YouTube videos without relying on JavaScript or external services. It seems that YouTube includes a link to the transcript in the source code of the video page, making this process much easier than originally thought.

With this new information, work will begin within the next few days to implement this feature into the plugin. This update will allow you to automatically import YouTube video transcripts so you can use AI to translate and rewrite them.

Stay tuned for the update!

Also, it would be a huge advantage if you could incorporate Whisper into plugins. For transcription of videos and turning them into blog posts.

In this way, aggravated content can be pulled not only from youtube but other sources as well.

The new %youtube_transcript[...]% shortcode imports the transcript for a given link to a YouTube video. For example, the following will be replaced with the transcript for the YouTube video currently being imported: %youtube_transcript[%link%]%. The shortcode should be used as the content to be transformed by the AI. This means that you should use an AI model to transform the following unformatted transcript into a well-structured, HTML-formatted block suitable for insertion into the body of a WordPress post. The same way as you do it with %post_title%, %post_content% etc.

Below is a post generated for your prompt, and I can't see anything wrong with it. Since I could not reproduce your problem, this means that the shortcode is valid and the plugin is working correctly. The problem must be somewhere else.

According to your Syncicator log, it appears that the transcript was not imported. This could happen if you were paring transcripts too frequently and your IP was being blocked by youtube.com. I'm talking about a situation similar to the one described in this article: Login to see this link

So you should use the same method to avoid this problem. For example, reduce the frequency of requests, use proxies, etc. Don't try to scrape all of YouTube at once, because they won't let you. Create a few posts a day with a break in between, like one post every 8-12 hours, and you'll be fine.

Adding dozens of posts to your blog at once is a strategy that can backfire, especially when it comes to how Google perceives your site. This type of behavior raises red flags because it signals that the content is likely not being produced by a human blogger, but rather by an automated system. No real human blogger can consistently produce large volumes of posts in such a short period of time.

This lack of organic content creation can make your site look unnatural, and from an SEO perspective, it's a bad practice. Google's algorithms are designed to reward content that is created over time, reflecting consistent effort and engagement. Flooding your blog with mass-produced posts all at once can hurt your rankings and overall credibility, as it suggests that the site is more about quantity than quality. It's important to prioritize a steady, natural flow of content that reflects real human input and creativity.

⚠️It is also possible that there is still something wrong with your settings. You can export your feed settings to a file and email it to Login to see this link to check.

Thanks for the reply, I currently have the site behind Cloudflare, so maybe you mean their IP can be banned?

Unfortunately I don't know how to use proxies, do you have any suggestions?

I also take this opportunity to ask you how to duplicate feeds, replacing only the RSS URL so as not to have to waste time reconfiguring each feed every time.

Thanks in advance for the reply.

PS I sent you the requested file via email

Cloudflare won't help in this case because it's primarily protecting your site from incoming threats and optimizing the delivery of content to users. However, if your server is making outbound requests to YouTube, those requests are still coming from your server's IP, not Cloudflare's. If YouTube temporarily blocks your server's IP, there's nothing Cloudflare can do to mask or prevent it. Only proxies can help you in this situation: Login to see this link

As for the 2nd question. Just export your feed (there's a button at the bottom of CyberSEO Pro's syndicator) to a file, edit it's URL on the feed settings page, and after that import that exported file. So you will have two feeds with different URLs and the same settings.

I've checked your site and can confirm that YouTube is blocking your IP and asking for verification to make sure you're not a bot, which is what CyberSEO Pro actually is. This happens when Google's servers are overwhelmed by frequent requests. Please note that you don't necessarily have to import transcripts for this to happen. Simply parsing videos or making multiple requests to other Google services from the same server IP can trigger this type of block.

If reducing the number of requests isn't an option for you, you'll need to invest in purchasing proxies. The plugin is able to work with proxies, and this will indeed solve the blocking problem. However, it's important to mention that good, reliable proxies are almost impossible to find for free, and you will need to buy them.

To create a proxy list, you can either buy proxies from a reputable provider or use a proxy management service that offers rotating proxies. Good proxies aren't free, so you'll need to invest in them. Once you have access, you can configure the plugin to use these proxies for your requests. This will help you avoid being blocked by YouTube.

These services offer various types of proxies that you can use for your tasks. You'll need to check each one to find the best fit for your needs.
