I aggregate posts into WP with DRAFT status. I use WP Auto Poster plugin to set status from DRAT to PUBLISHED.
Since a short while the Auto Poster log shows "wp_update_post returned Invalid page template". The post is published however it creates an error with another plugin WP To Buffer. This plugin publishes posts to Twitter. The error prevents the triggering of WP To Buffer.
If I manually change a syndicated feed post from DRAFT status to PUBLISHED everything works fine. Post is published and WP To Buffer is triggered.
If I manually create a post in DRAFT and run it by WP Auto Poster everything works fine. Post is published and WP To Buffer is triggered.
This behavior started about a month ago for all Syndicated Feeds.
Is there a way to prevent this error?
I believe you have to contact the developers of those plugins. Perhaps they do something wrong. The CyberSEO Pro does it in the full accordance with the WordPress API Codex.
There could be many problems with those plugins actually. For example, I know that some Twitter poster plugins try to tweet your post right on the WordPress publish_post hook, which triggers when a new post is added by the Login to see this link function, however that post has no image attached. This happens because WordPress adds an image as a child post attachment when the original post has been already added.
This is how WordPress works and those plugin must be able to deal with auto-generated posts. In other words, it's not me who can fix this problem.

I know plugins can interfere with one another. However until now it has not happened before. Just trying to find the root cause of it all.
WP Auto Poster plugin to sets the post status from DRAFT to PUBLISHED

This is exactly why I use Auto Poster. Posts created by syndicated feeds need time for the featured image to be attached.
- To delay the twitter poster plugin
- To spread the amount of posts during the day
Strange thing is it only happens to posts generated by Syndicated Feeds. I can replicate this every time.
The second option "To spread the amount of posts during the day" has been implemented in CyberSEO Pro since the first release. Please note this option: Login to see this link
So you can set a random post date range (say 10..1440) and it will assign your posts a "Scheduled" status instead of a "Draft" one. Just give it a range in minutes. It could be a past or a future date. Perhaps it will work for your Twitter poster as well.

Done! WP Auto Poster is now out the window for CyberSEO.
The problem that some people just don't read the manual and have no idea about I'd say 90% of CyberSEO Pro features that they really need
They are looking for various 3rd-party solutions or just don't know how to do this or that and have no idea that all they need is already implemented in CyberSEO Pro for all the years since its first official release in 2006...
