I tried to install CyberSyn, but after activating in I can't see where to use it. I don't see anywhere on the WordPress admin any link related to CyberSyn.

It's in the "Settings" menu.

Thank you, I found it. I have another question: I want to set CyberSyn to update feeds every 60 minutes. I set the feed to update every 15 minutes (for testing), but after 21 minutes from the last update I see the next update as "asap". What does it mean and when will the feed be updated?

Is it possible to schedule the feeds to once an hour without writing PHP code? We are looking for a plugin for our customers and we can't tell them to write PHP functions.

I have set CRON at my HostGator account, set "Check syndicated feeds for updates every 0 minutes" in CyberSyn but no posts are made automatically from my feeds. HostGator triggers the CRON and I get an email notice that the CRON is triggered but no posts. When I click the "Pull Selected Feeds Now" within CyberSyn, I get posts to my blog. Somehow HostGator and CyberSyn are not working together. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Thanks

Jimmi

Please read Login to see this link. I believe you'll find the solution there.

I read it and did not find a solution. Here are 3 CRONS that do not work no matter how I put them into my browser, with or without the time triggers:

1     0     *     *     *     /usr/bin/GET Login to see this link

5     0     *     *     *     /usr/bin/curl --silent Login to see this link

10     0     *     *     *     /usr/bin/curl --silent Login to see this link

By the way, I am subscribed to this thread but never get notified of a response.

Here is what HostGator suggests:

PHP

Command to run a PHP5 cron job:
php /home/user_name123/public_html/cron.php

Optional flag sometimes required for a PHP cron job:
php -q /home/user_name123/public_html/cron.php

Command to run a PHP4 cron job:
/usr/local/php4/bin/php /home/user_name123/public_html/cron.php

All hosting types

More

Command to GET a remote file:
/usr/bin/GET Login to see this link.some-domain.com/file.php

Command to run a CGI cron job:
perl /home/user_name123/public_html/cgi-bin/file.pl

Can someone please help????

Perhaps your curl path is different to the default one. I'd suggest you to contact your host admin and ask him for a proper path to curl.
