would be nice if there was a preview post option to check the header and footer before import. i\'m guessing it\'d be fairly easy to add if you got some spare time :)

As far bot header and footer are just HTML codes written by you, they can be tested as a simple HTML file. I.e. make index.html in Notepad, put your header and footer codes there, save the file and simple open it in the browser :)
